Got Tummy Troubles? 3 Quick Fix Solutions

Got Tummy Troubles? 3 Quick Fix Solutions ~ The Attitude Revolution

Digestive disorders are never fun. But thankfully, there’s help at hand.

Getting smacked down with food poisoning recently, inspired me to share some of my favourite tummy tamers with you.

1. Slippery Elm Powder

Got Tummy Troubles? 3 Quick Fixes ~ The Attitude RevolutionAlthough it tastes like beige, SEP is my go to fix for a sore tummy. It’s great for combating bloating and for soothing cramps. There isn’t any kind of tummy trouble that can’t be tamed by Slippery Elm.

2. Peppermint Tea

You know how after dinner mints are a thing? There’s a very good reason for that. Peppermint improves digestion and helps relieve bloating, gas and the gurgles. *ahem*

Sip slowly for the best relief.

3. Magnesium Supplements

It may seem like an odd choice, but because magnesium improves the flow of kinetic energy between cells, it’s great for relieving muscle spasms.

In addition to these 3 quick fix solutions - pay attention to how you feel after you eat certain foods. Gluten and dairy intolerance are the main culprits, however, fructose, eggs and nuts can also be big contenders.

What about you? What are your favourite tummy tamers? Share over on the Facebook page - it’s where all the cool kids hang. Apparently ;)

Tahleevision: May, oh May

Oh May. You have been my favourite month to date.

You’re usually a good one, being my birth month at all. But this year you pulled all the stops out.

From getting to meet Danielle LaPorte to connecting with kindred spirits; from birthday sales that led to charity donations to another meditones album launch.

May - you’ve been stellar.

And so have all the things I’ve read, seen and heard. Here - let me share them with you.

  • Sara Landeta paints the most delicate images of birds on unfolded pharmaceutical boxes. So beautiful.
  • These slightly more accurate names for yoga poses are hilarious
  • Want to be happier? Of course you do. Science can help. Here’s how
  • A nut bar recipe that’s healthy, tasty AND sustainable? Yes, please
  • CATable promises to get your cat off your laptop and into your desk. *melting*

Love this unexpected rendition of Jolene!

OH GOD THE CUTENESS!!! BRING ME A SLOTH IMMEDIATELY! *_*

Ephemeral and oh, so beautiful.

The Antidote To Overwhelm

So last week you would have received your free goal setting worksheet. Yes?

So you know that feeling good is the precursor to action. Yes yes?

Excellent.

I know this to be true for sure.

You see - at the beginning of the year, I was supposed to be launching Spectrum - a course to teach amazing trailblazers how to get more resilience to achieve their big bold life vision. It was going to be based on the spectrum of emotions related to the chakras.

It was to be the antidote to overwhelm…

But a month earlier I had gone through a painful break up. At the time, I was about to throw in the towel. Heartbroken and overwhelmed, I didn’t think it was right for me to create Spectrum any more. It seemed completely counterintuitive. I just wanted to fade away.

Instead, my dear brother gave me excellent advice for getting through the tough times.

Focus on what makes you feel good.

So I did.

And I laughed at the irony of really being tested to walk my talk ;)

I used the exact process that I gave you in the goal setting worksheet and did simple, feel-good activities every day.

And guess what one of those activities was?

Writing music.

I have endless energy for music. It’s a life-affirming, time-flying, zone-of-genius rush.

I poured my heart, soul, time and life energy into creating the music for Spectrum.

And it became a lighthouse for me during my healing process. A genuinely sacred feedback loop.

So many of the tracks felt ‘channeled’. Like the music was being written through me.

In January I had the distinct honour and pleasure to lead a small and committed group of women through the Spectrum course.

And now?

I’m making the music from the Spectrum course available in the shop.

There’s 2.5 hours of meditones music in one album.

9 tracks in total. One for each of the seven chakras; one epic integration of all seven chakras; plus a bonus guided visualisation. Each track has been created with heart, integrity and intelligence.

If you’re interested in going on an incredible journey, one that will take you through a Spectrum of emotions; that will help you connect to your body and your chakras; that truly is the antidote to overwhelm…

Then I humbly invite you to take a peek at Spectrum - The Album.

With so much gratitude,

Tahlee

PS - I’m so excited to share this with you, I’ve even got a little sale on for the next week. You’ll get $50 off if you purchase in the next 7 days.

Goal Setting Worksheet

You too can be as happy as this mouse as you reach your goals!

Maybe you want to stop scoffing cake after every stressful staff meeting. Maybe you want to do yoga every day. Maybe you want to fulfil that creative dream of starting a blog / business / book.

Whatever your dream, no matter how tiny or daunting, you want to achieve it, yes?

Without all the huff and puff that normally accompanies your accomplishments, yes?

You can.

Feeling good is the precursor to action. <- click to tweet

It’s not new, it’s not revelatory, and it’s not rocket science.

I’m sure you’ve heard it a billion times by lots of other people. In fact Danielle LaPorte wrote a whole book on it (called The Desire Map). Plus, you KNOW in your cells that when you feel good. you do good - naturally.

But how do you maintain that consistency? What are the exact steps you need to take?

Wonder no more.

I’ve created a FREE worksheet for you to create simple steps that will help you achieve your goals, minus the overwhelm.

Download your free worksheet by signing up in the box below.

You’re welcome.

PS - Stay tuned. Next week - a HUGE antidote to overwhelm is coming…

Where Do You Get Your Energy From?

Energy.

Hands up if you want more? (*hand raised*)

You know there’s a tonne of things that impact your energy. Eating the right food, exercise, meditation, play etc etc.

But hands up if you feel daunted at your lack of motivation to get more energy?

Well, you’re in luck. I’m going to share two very simple solutions to getting your mojo and your energy back. You just need to understand where your energy comes from.

1. Your energy comes from other people = extrovert

2. Your energy comes from time alone = introvert

I think most people have a tendency towards both extroversion and introversion in different situations. However, when you understand where your energy comes from, you can use this awareness to your advantage.

When you’re feeling lonely, bored or “I can’t be bothered”

Nothing sucks your energy dry when you’ve got a severe case of ennui.

Now is the time to focus on collective activities and gain more energy from the group. Think dinners with friends; a big picnic outdoors; group classes like CrossFit, Groove, aerobics or Barre.

If you’re an entrepreneur or student who’s been spending too much time working or studying alone - organise a group work / study date. You may not get heaps of work done during the few hours you’re with other people, but the renewed vigour you get from spending time with others will motivate you in the days to come.

When you’re feeling drained, trapped or “I gotta get the hell outta here”

No need for a blown gasket, just breathe.

Now is the need for “alone time” to fill your own cup back up with the energy of solitude. Take a long solo run, swim or walk. Put your headphones on and reconnect with meditones. Turn up your favourite tunes and have a one-person dance party in your lounge room. Grab your favourite book and settle in with a cup of tea.

Clear boundaries is really important during this time so that your friends and family know that you need space. Let them know (as lovingly and politely as possible) that you’re not rejecting them, but off to fill up your self love cup. Make it an intentional disconnection in order to recharge. Call it a Ritual Separation rather than just running screaming for the door.

When you show people that this is how you take care of yourself, you give them permission to do the same for themselves.

For example, on Friday night I had a spectacular time at a Sacred Dance Party. 75 women dancing their pants off gave me such great energy! Now I’ve signed up for a 6 week Groove class in Brisbane because I know I’m craving more time with people to balance the huge time I spend alone working.

Over to you. What activities do you do that bring you energy? Head over to the Facebook page and let me know!
